Vedauwoo

Pronounced VAY-DE-VOO; located between Laramie and Cheyenne, Wyoming.  I had the day off today so I drove out here for a morning hike.  This place reminds me a lot of Moab, except the rocks are not red, and there are a ton more trees here.  This hike turned into something more like bouldering.  The trail sort of disappeared, so people just climbed up the boulders.

This is a view of some of the rocks at Vedauwoo.  It is made up of huge boulders.  People come here to explore and climb up them.
These rocks are so built up there is an entire mountain range of them.
I climbed up some of the boulders.  It was much easier to go up than to come down.
A close up of some of the boulders and trees in this area.
This rock made a perfect recliner.
You can see the top of one of these boulder mountains in the background.
Balanced rocks in the distance.
It is hard to tell how big these boulders are, but I couldn't even reach the notch of this rock that is almost touching the tree.
